2024-03-02: The wiki ran out of disk space, so things were not working. This has been resolved by adding another 5GB of quota ;-) Thanks to Tim Lindner for reporting the issues.
2020-05-17: If a page gives you an error about some revision not being found, just EDIT the page and the old page should appear in the editor. If it does, just SAVE that and the page should be restored. OS-9 Al (talk) 12:22, 17 May 2020 (CDT)
Talk:Deluxe Joystick
Table instead of bullet points?
I tend to prefer tables over lists, especially when there is redundant information that requires repeated verbiage. So I'm going to experiment here with one.
- 26-3012 single red fire button, TRS-80 Deluxe Joystick label, and two same-length arms internally not supported on the opposite side from the potentiometer
- 26-3012A two 'fire' buttons (a red one and a black one), TRS-80 Deluxe Joystick label, and two same-length arms internally not supported on the opposite side from the potentiometer
- 26-3012B two 'fire' buttons (a red one and a black one), Tandy Deluxe Joystick label, and two different length (long and short) arms internally where the long arm is supported by a peg on the opposite side of the potentiometer

Like other peripherals, the Deluxe Joystick was compatible with the Tandy 1000 line of PCs, and was advertised as such right from the Tandy 1000's debut in [1985's RSC-14 https://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/flipbook/c1985_rsc-14.html?fb3d-page=7].
Price cuts in Radio Shack catalogs were nearly always a sign that a product was going to be canceled or replaced by a newer model.
In 1986, the 26-3012's price was slashed from $39.95 to $29.95 in both RSC-15's Color Computer section and the main catalog's CoCo section . The same held true in RSC-15's Tandy 1000 section and [the main catalog's Tandy 1000 section https://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/flipbook/1986_radioshack_catalog.html?fb3d-page=182].
